Logically Explained Evidence

Here are examples of evidence that have a logical or scientific explanation behind what you're seeing.

False Evidence of Pictures

Here is a common occurrence. As you can see in the picture there's what appears to be an orb. Upon further review we figured it out as two finger tips and one of the finger tips has fabric, or hair under the nail which gave it this appearance
As you can tell from the picture it appears to be orbs in the form of strings. Upon further review we found it be the person holding the camera's hair in the way of the flash, giving it this appearance

In this picture it appears as if there's an apparition  forming in the window. After reviewing photos with other pictures taken in this exact spot just different angles, we found it to be a reflection of the window frame. This is Very common when taken exterior pictures at night.
As previously mentioned, outdoor photos at night can show a variety of anomalies - some we may consider to be paranormal. This was taken during a cemetery investigation. The yellow streak above the investigator's head and the discoloration behind her seem unusual. However, the yellow line is simply a lightning bug. The odd red/blue 'mist' behind the investigator is a trick of the light flashing off the screen of another piece of equipment.

False Audio Evidence

This audio clip seems to have captured a singing voice. However, this is a great example of how important is to have full cooperation from those investigating with you and awareness of your environment during a recording session. The voice is simply another investigator present. If someone unaware of who was there at the time listens to this, it could be misconstrued as a disembodied voice.

Debunking

One of the common occurrences we have found during investigations with groups that use REM Pods, is that they always seem to go off during Q/A Sessions. One of the things ALEP has found while using REM Pods is that Walkie Talkies, 2 Way Radios, and even Cell Phones can interfere with the REM Pods. During a recent investigation ALEP did, we used our REM Pods for the first time. As we were setting up cameras downstairs the REM pod upstairs in one of the rooms was going off. We at first thought it was us moving around, so we field tested it, we had two different investigators walk around down stairs while the other monitor the REM Pod on our DVR. It was not going off, however when we keyed up our 2 Way Radios, it would go off. So our Lead Investigator went into the room with the REM Pod and "keyed" up his radio. As Soon as he did the REM Pod went off. So we tested it a floor below the REM Pod, and everywhere on the lower level, as soon as the Radio was "keyed" The REM Pod went off, however we did not notice the REM Pod on the 3rd floor going off during this time.
